Welcome to Equilibrium Therapy
At Equilibrium, my goal is to help my clients find balance so that you can live the life you truly want. I provide caring, nonjudgmental therapy to those wanting to optimize their lives. If you struggle with feeling like an "imposter" in your job or relationships, want to reduce your stress, are looking to develop a mindfulness practice, or want to build self-confidence, I would love to help. I believe in collaborating with my clients to discover how you can creatively find your peace, and believe that everyone deserves happiness.
As an intensively trained DBT therapist, I utilize DBT's principles in all my work. DBT looks at how our emotions, thoughts, and behaviors are all interconnected. DBT is an evidence-based therapy which includes principles of self care, self identity, dialectics, mindfulness, and having a life worth living. I also have experience with Poetry Therapy and love using creative avenues for self-exploration or getting past writer's block.
I have extensive training in gender therapy and enjoy helping transgender clients through the transition process, as well as helping those who are gender-questioning develop a sense of their own personal gender identity, whatever it might be. I am also a kink-aware therapist who can provide non-judgmental and informed support to those in the Kink and Poly communities.
